A Grandparent's Story Workshop at the Paterson Free Public Library!

Do you have a story to tell?

Have you lived through incredible times? Witnessed history unfold? Migrated to a new land and built a life here?

The Paterson Free Public Library invites you, our beloved grandparents, to a unique three-day workshop where you'll share your experiences and turn them into lasting legacies.

Work with Master Storytellers!

This workshop will be led by experienced master writers who will guide you in crafting your stories. You'll learn how to capture the essence of your life's journey - from tales of migration and immigration to the joys and challenges of love and happiness.

Capture Your Primary Resource Stories!

Your stories are invaluable! They hold the wisdom of generations and a rich tapestry of experiences. In this workshop, you'll:

  • Record your voice, preserving your narrative for family and future generations.
  • Connect with other storytellers and build a community of shared experiences.

Leave a Legacy!

This is your chance to not only share your life with loved ones but also contribute to the historical record of our community.
